Yeah, I've been watching this show and I've gotta say I'm kind of hooked. I love that the History Channel is using a Vegas pawn shop to explore history. Sure, you could argue it cheapens historical artifacts but I think watching items like they show change hands adds to the history of the item. What good is it sitting in some museum?

1/24/10 - Pawn Stars
Yeah, I've been watching this show and I've gotta say I'm kind of hooked. I love that the History Channel is using a Vegas pawn shop to explore history. Sure, you could argue it cheapens historical artifacts but I think watching items like they show change hands adds to the history of the item. What good is it sitting in some museum?

I thought it was pretty interesting too (the show). I don't have cable TV, but saw this show in December while on a business trip (staying in a hotel). Fairly surprised to see one of our local shops on the History Channel. We need all the education we can get out here in Vegas.
